“郎君子”小考

A Study of‘Langjunzi'

在八大山人多次题写的一首诗作中,有"若耶擘莲蓬,画里郎君子"一语,颇令人费解。本文考辩"郎君子"一词的几种用法,认为八大山人诗中所言"郎君子"应指莲子。八大山人描绘莲子的独特方式也表明,他对莲子的理解有不同常人处。

In a poem Bada Shanren inscribed on many of his works,we encounter a line referring to the‘langjunzi in paintings'.The author interprets the word langjunzi in a number of contexts and shows that it was a reference to the lotus.Bada Shanren's unique way of painting lotuses also demonstrates that he had an unconventional understanding of that plant.
