本文对地埋式特大型贮罐的结构特点、材料选择，成形装配，焊后热处理、水压试验地面承载设计及设备整体拖运上船等关键因素进行比较系统的阐述。

This article formulates the key factors of the extra-large earth covered tanks such as its structural characteristic, material selection forming, assembly, post-weld heat treatment, hydrostatic test, ground load-bearing design as well as loading the completed vessel to the barge and so on. In addition, it also describes the methods of how the above mentioned difficulties were overcame under the unsatisfactory condition of shop facilities and loading capacilities,which led to the successful stamp of the U2 code symbol stamp under the supervision of the Authorized Inspector who are employed by the Authorized Inspection Agency accredited by ASME.
