The application of tea seed saponin on the agriculture, medicine, daily chemicaldustry, construction and other fields were reviewed in this article. The extraction technology of tea saponin from the camellia cake and its characteristics was summarized. At the same time, some views and urgent problems were pointed out, which needed to be taken seriously.
