CENTUM-CS3000 control system , which was complex automatic system used both in production and management,has strong functions,wide field of application,user-friendly interface,and could satisfy various requirements of the plant. The general situation of Zhanazhol new oil & gas processing plant in Kazakhstan,the structure,design,application of control system,its connection with PLC were introduced. The main functions of CS3000,deficiencies in the system design and corresponding improvement suggestions were also put forward. The system has got stable operation since starting up.
