党的十六大以来,胡锦涛在全面建设小康社会和改革开放的伟大实践中,提出了关于青年工作的新的思想观点,呈现出了鲜明的特色,主要表现为:注重加强各国青年之间的交流;主张为青年的成才营造良好的环境;指明了青年成才的正确道路;强调加强和改进大学生思想政治工作;注重加强共青团工作。
