The establishment and development of the experimentation education center for life science in Xiamen University

厦门大学生命科学实验教学中心在创建和发展国家级示范中心的过程中已经历了10年的实践。2000-2005年期间，实验教学中心通过在实验教学管理机制改革、实验室和仪器设备建设、实验教学队伍建设、实验教学课程体系与教学内容改革、人才培养模式改革、辐射示范影响、学生实验研究技能提高等方面所获得的显著成效，被列入教育部国家级示范中心。2005年以来，厦门大学生命科学国家级实验教学示范中心继续建设与拓展，进一步探讨提高实验教学内容的先进性和系统性，加强实验教学特色以及产生辐射示范作用。

The experimentation education center for life science in Xiamen University passed through ten years for the establishment and development of the national demonstration center. In 2005, the center was listed as a national demonstration center by the Ministry of Education after the center had achieved the great successes in the reform of experimentation education administration system, the construction of teaching laboratories and instrument conditions, the construction of experimentation teaching team, the reform of the experimentation content system and education mode, the radicalization and demonstration of the center, and the improvement of students experimentation research ability since 2000. The national demonstration center for life science experimentation education in Xiamen University has kept up its construction and development since 2005 for further advancing the experimentation content system, enhancing the characteristics of experimentation education, and producing the radicalization and demonstration of the center.
