On the Teaching Reform of English Pronunciation and Intonation

通过对英语专业学生的英语语音现状进行调查,分析了他们在语音语调方面出现的问题,提出了语音教学改革的建议和措施。英语专业语音教学应该以学生的实际问题和需要为教学的核心内容,针对学生的个体差异,因人施教。

Through surveying the present situation of the English major students＇ pronunciation and intonation, this paper analyses their problems and the reasons. It also proposes some measures for the teaching reform of English pronunciation and intonation. The teaching of English pronunciation and intonation should be based on the students＇ real problems and actual demands.
