摘要
本文分析了多媒体信息和局域网的特点，对多媒体信息在局域网内传输的局限性和可行性进行了详细的理论研究。我们利用当前一些先进的软件技术，提出了克服这些局限性的方法，实现了多媒体信息在局域网中传输的实时性、连续性和交互性。此外，我们选择了一个具有代表性的设计环境，实现了局域网内语音多媒体信息传输系统。
Abstract In this thesis,we analyse the characteristics of multimedia information transmission over LANs.The article also shows the limitations of today's LAN technique by using some advanced software techniques,and presents solutions to the limitations.A multimedia information transmission system is designed and realized.Finally,the authors present their own opinions of the development trend of LAN techniques.
