Religious Culture Tourism Between Fujian and Taiwan and the Cross-strait Interactions

地缘相近、血缘相亲、神缘相似、俗缘相同和文缘相通使得闽台关系源远流长、紧密相连。其中,两岸间以妈祖信仰为代表的宗教文化旅游在形成和发展过程中,存在着十分紧密的互动关系。资源丰富、交流活跃的闽台宗教文化旅游在新的历史时期展现出其独特的特点,在两岸关系的发展中发挥着桥梁和纽带的重要作用,有力地推动当今海峡两岸政治的改善、经济的交流和中华文化的认同。

Fujian and Taiwan, with the same origin and sharing one common root, have close relationship in geography, blood, culture, trade, legislation and religion. There are close interactions between Fujian and Taiwan in the formation and development of religious culture tourism, which is represented by Mazu belief culture. In the new historical period, the religious culture tourism between Fujian and Taiwan, rich in resources and active in exchanges, has taken on its uniquecharacteristics. It plays an important role in linking the two sides, and powerfully pushes the improvement of cross-straits political situation, economic exchanges and Chinese cultural identity.
