On the Similarity of Comedy Art Between Guan Hanqing and Moliere

关汉卿和莫里哀是跨越时空的两位戏剧大师,创作出了各具特色的喜剧作品,对后世产生了深远的影响。本文通过分析两位剧作家的喜剧作品,从人物形象的矛盾性、惩恶扬善的斗争性、插科打诨的幽默性、戏弄手法的喜剧性四个方面揭示他们艺术手法的相似性。

Guan Hanqing and Moliere come from different eras and different places, creating some unique comedy works and having a far-reaching influence on succeeding generations. Through analysis of two playwrights＇ comedy works, this article reveals the similarity of artistic technique from the four following aspects： the contradiction of character image, the militancy of rewarding virtue and punishing vice, the humor of funny dialogues and actions and the comedic teasing technique.
