时间压缩技术是一种新的技术，它以CAD技术、快速原型技术和快速工具技术为主体，它的目的在于缩短产品开发周期和产品上市时间。本文简要叙述了CAD技术在时间压缩工程中的重要性以及快速原型技术和快速工具技术在产品可视化、设计验证、反复设计、优化设计及制作工具等五个方面的应用，说明了时间压缩技术在新产品开发中的作用，强调了新品开发在制造业中的重要性。

Time Compression Technology is a newly technology that consists of CAD, Rapid Prototyping and Rapid Tooling. The use of TCTs can improve Product Development Cycle and reduce lead time and time to market. This paper describes the important of CAD in the Time Compression Engineeling and the application of the TCTs in visualization,verification, iteration, optimization and making tooling. This article also indicates the necessary of paying attention to the product development in industry.
