现代文明社会强调以人为本,发扬人文主义精神。基于这种认识,本文旨在对戈尔丁的长篇小说《蝇王》进行生态主义的解读,通过分析作品中一群孩子在荒岛上的生活片段,揭示出人类自古以来对生态的破坏和无视正是人类相互残杀的悲剧根源,同时表达出对人类返朴归真、重返与自然和谐相处的美好理想的渴求。

In present modern civilized world,man is emphasized as the basis of the society and the spirit of humanity is highlighted as well.Based on this understanding, the novel, ＂the Lord of Flies＂ ,written by William Gorlding, is reviewed and analyzed in a eeocritieal way in this article. Through observing several life scenes of the group of kids living in a wild and desolated nameless island,this paper aims at exposing the root of human being＇s slaughter.the great damage and ignorance to nature ,expressing the man＇s eager quest for his sincere returning to nature and a harmonious living together with nature.
