The Connection between Western Development and Economic Growth of Western Region

从地区差距的变动情况、西部地区的经济增长机制、经济要素与西部经济增长、经济结构与西部经济增长政策安排、制度因素与西部地区经济增长等五个方面对西部大开发战略实施十年以来的研究成果进行探讨。可以看到,10年来国内学者们对于西部经济发展问题予以广泛的关注,针对西部经济发展问题产生了一批具有现实解释力与理论深度的观点。

This paper summarizes the studying results from five aspects including changes in regional disparities, mechanism of economic growth in western region, economic factors and western economic growth, economic structure and policy arrangements for economic growth in western region and institutional factors and western economic growth. It can be found that during the ten-year time domestic scholars have paid great attention to the problems about economic development of western region and a group of point of views came out which are of highly practical explanatory power and theoretical depth.
