Expounded the basis of cognitive theory, methods, and operation steps of the Cognitive Task Analysis（ CTA）, and emphasized the role of cognitive schema, unconscious cognitive process and automated thoughts in the procedural knowledge. Showed out the importance of the CTA in the teaching and researching of expertise knowledge in medicine. It illustrated the effective applications of CTA in surgery, nursing and clinical psychology,put forward the perspective of application in the researching and practice of medicine.
