Detection of serum Hp antibody in Beijing children

目的评价儿童血清ＨｐＡｂ检测的价值，过筛儿童Ｈｐ相关胃炎（ＨｐＧ）．方法健康组为随机抽样北京市１０７例健康儿童，症状组为有上消化道症状的儿童１２２例．采用ＥＬＩＳＡ法测定血清ＨｐＡｂ．对ＨｐＡｂ阳性儿童随机纤维内镜检查（ＧＦ）及ＨｐＵＴ检查．结果健康组ＨｐＡｂ阳性率为３８％（４／１０７），症状组ＨｐＡｂ阳性率为２７９％（３４／１２２），经统计学处理有显著性差异（χ２＝２３９８，Ｐ＜００１）．随机ＧＦ及ＨｐＵＴ检查阳性率９２９％，确诊为ＨｐＧ．结论Ｈｐ是儿童胃炎的主要致病因素．北京健康儿童ＨｐＡｂ阳性率近似西方发达国家．有上消化道症状儿童ＨｐＡｂ阳性率高于健康儿童．ＨｐＡｂ检测可以做为儿童ＨｐＧ筛查方法。

AIM To evaluate the detection of serum Hp Ab and to screen Hp associated gastritis (Hp G) in children. METHODS Serum Hp Ab of healthy group (107 healthy children from Beijing) and symptomatic group (122 children with symptom of upper gastrointestinal tract), were detected by ELISA, and then gastroscopy with HpUT was randomly performed in children with positive Hp Ab. RESULTS Hp Ab positive rate in the healthy group was 3 8%(4/107), and 27 8%(34/122) in symptomatic group, with a significant statistical difference (χ 2=23 98, P <0 01). The positive rates of gastroscopy and HpUT were 92 9%, with a diagnosis of Hp associated gastritis (Hp G). CONCLUSION Hp is a main pathogenic factor of Hp G in children. Hp Ab positive rate in the healthy children from Beijing is similar to that in developed countries. Hp Ab positive rate in symptomatic children is much higher than that in healthy ones. Hp Ab detection can be used to screen and diagnose Hp G in kids with symptoms.
