A Review of the Development of Non-governmental Higher Education and Ideas about Medium-and Long-term Development

我国的改革开放已经走过了30年的历程,这30年也是我国民办高等教育获得长足发展的关键时期,可以说民办高等教育已经取得了一系列辉煌的成绩。笔者简单回顾我国民办高等教育发展的进程,指出民办高等教育的发展现状,阐述发展民办高等教育的重要意义,提炼多年发展的经验,提出中长期发展方向,明确列出今后5至12年的发展思路。

We have undergone the course of reform and open-up for 30 years, a critical period for our non-governmental higher education to have a good development. We may say that we have scored a series of brilliant achievements in non-governmental higher education. The author briefly reviews the course of the development in our non-governmental higher education, points out the status quo of the development of non-governmental higher education, expounds the significance of the development of non-governmental higher education, refines the multi-year experience in development, and puts forth the orientation for the medium-and long-term development, especially the ideas about the development in the coming 5 to 12 years.
