《简·爱》为英国文坛塑造了一个不朽的妇女形象——简·爱。简·爱虽出身低微、一贫如洗、其貌不扬,但敢于反抗压迫和偏见,敢于争取自由和平等,其自尊自强的性格、纯洁的爱情、智慧的宗教信仰,无论在当时社会还是现在社会都有着深刻的现实意义。
Jane .Eyre cuts a vivid and enduring woman image in the literary world of the Great Britain of Kingdom. A poor, humble and plain woman, who lives with religious belief, self-respect and self-strengthens, faith of longing to love and be loved, Jane Eyre is brave enough to resist creadown and prejudice, struggling for freedom and recognition of her basic right and equality as a human being. Her character and faith is meaningful either in that period or now.
