继续解放思想是党的十七大向全国人民提出的新要求。要确保新一轮的思想解放沿着正确的方向前进。就必须运用马克思主义辩证思维的方法，把握思想解放的时代要求。首先，把坚持解放思想和实事求是统一起来；其次，把坚持理论创新与四项基本原则统一起来；再次，把增强民主意识与增强执政党意识统一起来；最后，把树立中国特色意识与树立全球意识统一起来。惟其如此，我们才能真正完成时代赋予的崇高使命。

Continuing to emancipate the mind is a new requirement put forward by the seventeenth congress to the people. To make sure the new mind emancipation to carry forward in right direction, we must grasp its time requirement by dialectical thinking. Firstly, to combine emancipating the mind and seeking truth from facts; Secondly, to combine adhering theory innovation and the Four Cardinal Principles; Thirdly, to combine better sense of democracy and a ruling party; Finally, to combine setting up the sense of Chinese characteristics and global. Only by doing these, can we accomplish the lofty mission bestowed by the times.
