Medicinal Value of Dioscorea Cirrhosa Lour

目的薯莨是生长于我国中南地区的一种多年生藤本植物,其块茎是一味常用中草药。本文描述了薯莨的生物学性状并对与其易混淆的多种植物块茎进行比较分析。薯莨的主要生物活性成分是块茎中的鞣质成分,能活血止血,理气止痛,收敛固涩,清热解毒,对多种疾病具有较好的疗效。

Dioscorea eirrhosa Lout is a perennial and liana plant in the central south China, of which the tuber is one of the tradi- tional Chinese medical herbs. In this paper there presented the biological characters of Dioseorea eirrhosa Lour and an identification was made on some confused plant tubers. With functions of promoting blood circulation to arrest bleeding, regulating Qi to alleviate pain inducing astringency and cleating heattoxicity, Dioscorea tannin, the main active component, showed higher therapeutic effectiveness on many kinds of diseases.
