Statins＇ pharmacokinetics and pharmacokinetic interactions with other drugs were reviewed. Statin monotherapy is generally well tolerated, with a low incidence of adverse events. However, the coad- ministration with statins and other drugs may induce the pharmacokinetic interactions thereof to lower the efficacy or to potentiate the toxic and side effect.
