常宁方言词语证《易》

Checking Some Characters in the Text of the Zhouyi by the Dialect of Changning

《易》之文义深奥,又多古语。诸多学人解《易》,有的未尽切合《易》之原旨,有的虽切合原旨,但阐释不明。重要的原因之一是未能达诂《易》之古语。而今之方言往往保存古音古义,故以今之方言词语能申发或纠正学人之解《易》。笔者主要以湖南常宁方言词语,间或旁及别的方言词语对《易》爻辞中有歧见的字义作个案分析,以明经义;或为诸贤所释之义增加新的方言材料;或以方言古音本义对诸贤所训之义提出新见。

The Text of the Zhouyi is abstruse in that it contains many archaic characters. Some scholars interpretations deviate from the original meaning. Though some scholars＇exegeses accord to the original meaning, their interpretations are not clear enough. One of the reasons is for their lack of thorough exegesis of some characters. Yet, because dialects tend to preserve some archaic pronunciations and meanings, many interpretations can be rectified by today＇s dialects. This paper attempts to interpret some ambiguous characters in the line statements by the dialects of Changning and references of dialects of other places to explicate the original meaning of the Text to refine the precedent explanations and put forward new ideas on former exegeses.
