From the research on WuSi （五祀） in the Chu bamboo slips and NEILI （ 《 内礼》 ） in the Chu-Dynasty Bamboo Slips of Warring States Collected by Shanghai Museum（Vol.4）bamboo slips, the author tries to make reasonable explanation on the eighth slips ofNeiLi （ 《内礼》） . And recognizes that slips of ShiMei（时昧） is a period of time of dawn, that is, a dark span which the night is not over and the sun will rise up.
