云南地区HIV感染者口腔健康行为调查

An analysis of the concepts and behaviors about oral health among 102 HIV infected patients in Yunnan

目的:调查云南地区艾滋病患者的口腔卫生习惯、观念、行为和自身口腔健康报告等情况。方法:采用现况调查和个人访谈方式,对就诊于昆明市第三人民医院确诊的HIV感染人群进行口腔健康调查。结果:艾滋病患者口腔自我保健意识较差,口腔患病率高。结论:应通过多种途径增强艾滋病患者口腔保健意识,提高其生活质量。

Objective： The aim of the study was to assess the oral health behaviour among HlV-infected patients attending Kunming Third Hospital. Method： A questionnaire was administered by two interviewer to a sample of 102 patients with a serological diagnosis of HIV infection to assess their oral health behaviour; The assessment of oral health behaviour involved determining the regularity and frequency of oral hygiene practices, and use of mouth wash. Result： Due to their ed- ucational backgrounds and incomes,distinctive differences of knowledge,concepts and behaviors about oral health exist among these patients. Conclusion： There is a general lack of knowledge, correct concepts and behaviors about oral health among HIV infected patients. Public oral health education and promotion should be conducted.
