Latent Subject: Novels by Bingxin and Readers' Awareness

读者意识是作家对读者接受和理解作品的先期预设,是作家创作意识的重要组成部分。现代作家的读者意识,伴随着传播媒介的现代变革而渐次萌生。冰心的读者意识是对时代要求与读者审美意识双重呼应的产物,一方面,冰心敏锐把握时代症候,关注社会民生;另一方面,尊重读者的情智和阅读积极性,以文体的创新性和艺术的情趣性引发读者的阅读热情。然而,冰心的读者意识却未能发展成明确的、具有积极主动性的主体意识,呈现出主体的潜隐形态。

Readers＇ consciousness, which is the result of the modern reform of mass media, is the preview of the author in response to the readers＇ comprehension of the writings and it is an important component of the authors＇ creative awareness. Bingxin＇s Readers＇ awareness echoed the requirements of the times and the taste of readers. On the one hand, Bingxin grasped the essence of the times and showed concern for the people＇s livelihood ; on the other hand, she respected the readers＇ emotion and intelligence and their enthusiasm for reading. Thus she triggered the readers＇ enthusiasm for reading by the innovative style and artistic practices. However, Bingxin＇s Readers＇ awareness took on a latent form of the subject rather than a clear, positive awareness of the subject.
