我国男护士的发展现状

Development Status of Male Nurses in China

护理工作一直是女性为主导的职业。自20世纪中期后,尤其是在西方发达国家,男护士的数量逐步增加,学历层次也逐年上升。在我国,自20世纪后期,男护士虽有增加的趋势,但种种原因阻碍男护士的发展,而且男护士的现状也令人担忧。文章就男护士在护理职业的优势、阻碍我国男护士发展的因素等方面进行了综述。

Nursing has been a female -dominated occupation. However, the number of male nurses has increased since the mid -20th century especially in the developed western countries. In China, There is an increasing trend for the number of male nurses, but a variety of reasons has hindered the development of the male nurses and the conditions of them are disturbing. The paper summarizes the advantages of the male nurses as well the barriers which pre- vent them from developing.
