摘要
委婉语是人类日常话语交际中经常出现的一种语言交际形式。不同社会层次、不同语言社团都有其进行委婉表达的特定语言手段。形形色色的委婉语映射出形形色色的社会心理状态:忌讳和恐惧、尊重、粉饰和掩盖真相、减少负面影响等。
Euphemism is a genre of linguistic interactions that often emerges in daily conversation. Through an approach to different psychological basis of the using of euphemism in diverse fields,the paper compares euphemisms in differentiated cultures associated with the gender discrimination for the purpose of providing a diversified dimensions in the study of euphemism.
