The paper expounds the developing direction and thought about the physical teaching of the primary education major in new curriculum standards. It is suggested that physical educational teaching should be always implemented the ＂health first＂ as the guiding ideology of teaching in new curriculum standards. Teachers should try hard to cultivate students＇ interest and ability of learning spurits knowledge. Also we should try to foster the students＇ teaching ability.
