Technology,Humanity and Religion——Reflection of Hans Kung on Technology Times

当今时代,技术似乎成了绝对的价值,甚至变成了某些人绝对信仰的偶像。汉斯.昆认为应该从两个方面来看待技术进步。否则,技术进步在发展人性的同时,也一定会损坏人性。他认为,我们必须放弃对技术统治论的信仰。通过借助世界伦理实现的对技术的"综合",人性的全面实现才会成为可能。真正的宗教是为人性服务的。宗教和人性之间是相互的辩证关系:真正的人性是真正的宗教的前提,即人性是一种对每一种宗教的最低要求;真正的宗教则是对真正人性的完善。

Nowadays tectmology has become the absolute value, even the idol that some people believe utterly. Hans Kung thinks there are two sides of the improvement of technology. Otherwise, the improvement will truely destroy the authentic Humanity while improving it. He argues that we must abandon the extreme faith in technocracy. The world ethics can help with the realization of the synthesis of technology. And only with this synthesis can the fallfillment of humanity be possible. All authentic religions serve for humanity. Religion and Humanity are dialectic to each other： suthentic Humanity is the precondition of authentic religion, that is to say, humanity is the minimum standard to every religion while authentic religion is the consummation of authentic humanity.
