掌握知识与发展能力是提高学生素质的前提和基础，也是智育的两个主要目标。它是教育思想中很值得探讨的一个重要问题。本文着重论及了三个问题，即：要正确理解知识与能力；要掌握知识与能力的辩证统一关系；要把发展能力真正放在首位。
