摘要
外语学习研究需要科学的方法。定量方法和质性研究方法各有利弊,理想的研究方法是去除范式之争,采用适当的研究视角。隐喻是语言学的经典研究问题。本文从方法论、认识论和学习论三方面论证隐喻方法在外语学习研究,特别是学习者内外部因素研究中的作用。
The research of foreign language learning (FLL) calls for scientific methodology. Both quantitative paradigm and qualitative paradigm have inner limitations. The ideal research method is to adopt an appropriate perspective regardless of the gap between the paradigms. Metaphor has been one of the classic linguistic research topics. The function of metaphor research method in FLL study, especially the study of internal and external factors of learners, is expounded from the perspectives of methodology, epistemology and learning theory.
