《释名》“一词二据”现象及其产生原因

An Exploration of "One Word,Two Explanations" in Shi Ming and Its Sources

同一个名称的得名之由应该是确定的,一个词的理据只能作出一种解释,而不应该随意解释。作为一部解释词语理据的著作,《释名》则有48处出现了"一词二据"现象。产生"一词二据"现象的原因,主要有三个:一是兼容并收前人的训诂材料;二是运用声训随意系联同音词或近音词;三是从不同角度运用不同方法探求理据。

Shi Ming is a work accounting for word origins. Altogether 48 cases of ＂one word, two explanations＂ appear in the book. There are three major reasons for this phenomenon： the inclusion of explanations of words in ancient books, arbitral＇ association of homophones or homonyms by acoustic exegetics, inferring the origin of words from different perspectives with different approaches.
