Influence of FDI on the Total Factor Productivity in China——An Empirical Study Based on Extended Version of Solow Model

基于扩展索洛模型就对外直接投资(以下简称FDI)与全要素生产率的关系进行实证分析的实证结果表明,FDI对我国全要素生产率存在正的影响,而且这种影响是显著的。FDI通过其技术转移、促进进出口、促进企业和行业内经济体制向符合市场原则转化等作用对全要素生产率产生积极的影响。

This study analyses the effects of FDI on the total factor productivity in China using the estimates of an extended version of Solow model . The results provide evidence for the significant positive effect of FDI on the total factor productivity. This positive effect come from technology transfer, enhancing import-export trade and making the changing of economic systems between firms and industries from planning mechanism to market mechanism through FDI.
