唐氏宗谱源流考释

Textual Research on Tang Genealogy

唐氏为黄帝嫡系后裔,一支直接源自于黄帝曾孙尧帝,一支发祥于周成王之弟叔虞之后,还有一支便是战国时代江汉流域的姬姓唐国,后被楚国所灭,国人以国为姓。中国历史上的唐氏名流在二十四史中有八人被列传。唐氏宗族在战国时代开始迁徙,到南北朝时,唐氏已经遍居华夏大地,其郡望主要有晋昌和晋阳。明末清初,"湖广填四川",唐氏一支从湖北麻城孝感乡迁入四川,两地唐氏相隔300年,其宗谱却有一定存续关系。

This paper researches the origin of Tang family history in China. The authors point out that Tang family is the descendant of Huang Di （Yellow Emperor）. The first clan originated from the descendant of Emperor Yao, the great - grandson of Huang Di ; The second clan originated from the descendant of Shuyi, the brother of Emperor Cheng during the Zhou Dynast＇y, and the other clan originated from the descendant of Tang country, the original family name was Ji. Now, peoples with Tang family name are spread all over China.
