摘要 随着网络电视(IPTV)、视频点播(VOD)等数字多媒体技术的迅猛发展,传统的无线通信系统已不能满足日益增长的宽带业务需求。毫米波光纤无线通信技术既充分利用了现有光纤的高带宽、低损耗等特点,又发挥了无线通信的高度灵活性优点,因此,有机结合了光纤和无线通信优点的毫米波光纤无线通信技术是最理想的选择。 With the rapid development of digital multimedia technologies such as IPTV. VOD, traditional wireless communication system no longer meet the increasing demands of wide bandwidth services. The radio - over - fiber (ROF) technology can not only take full advantage of the characteristics of optical fiber' s high bandwidth and low loss, but all the high flexibility of wireless communication. Therefore, The radio -over- fiber (ROF) technology, combining merits of the fiber communication and the wireless communication technologies, is the best selection.
