Explication of Oracle Spatial Index

OracleSpatial提供两种空间索引,适用范围和效率各异,但是当前研究对这两种索引涉猎不多,用户在设计空间数据索引时往往不知两者的区别而造成数据查询分析效率不高。本文即从两种索引的原理入手,对建立两种索引前后及两者本身进行研究、分析和对比,最后结合实验对以上分析结果进行说明。

Oracle Spatial Offers two types of spatial indexing which is related to different usage, however few experts pay attention to the difference of these two kinds of spatial index, which always leads to poor efficiency in spatial analyzing and inquiring, therefore it is very necessary to put the emphasis on studying the comparison of these two types of indexing, including the efficiency difference of spatial analyzing and inquiring of the database with index and the one without index, which is proved by experiment in the end.
