孔子的“仁、义”观对培养当代中国公民意识的借鉴意义

Confucius' Outlook on "Benevolence" and "Righteousness" and Their Reference for Cultivating the Civic Awareness of Contemporary China

儒家思想体系是两千多年来养成中华民族价值观的基础,其中的"仁"、"义"作为这个基础的理论核心概念,本身具有普世的意义。当代的中国社会正处在一个巨大的转型时期,中国人作为帝国臣民的性质已经于1911年的辛亥革命宣告终结,而作为现代社会的公民意识正在培育之中,儒家伦理系统中那些具有超越时空性质的价值观念在经历了社会变迁和思想洗礼之后,仍然可以作为一种宝贵的精神资源在当代社会的公民意识塑造中发挥积极作用。

Contemporary China is undergoing a tremendous transformation and the awareness of a modern society citizen is in the process of cultivation. Some of the Confucian values such as benevolence and righteousness, traversing time and space, can still serve as precious intellectual resources in molding the civic awareness of modern society after social transformation and ideological baptism.
