摘要
传统的英语阅读教学阻碍了学生阅读能力的提高。图示理论的提出改革了过去那种不科学的阅读教学模式,对英语阅读教学意义重大。本文简单地介绍了图式理论以及它在阅读中的作用,并提出了把图式理论应用在阅读教学中的具体实施途径。
Traditional English reading pedagogy prevents the development of students' reading ability. The schema theory challenges the backward pedagogy, and makes a great contribution to the reform of reading teaching. The paper gives a brief introduction about Schema theory and its importance in English reading, and discusses how to make good use of this theory in the process of reading.
