分析了现代公共图书馆的服务功能、文献资源形态、服务形式及服务对象等的变化情况,提出馆员的角色定位也应随之而改变,并就现代公共图书馆对馆员素质的具体要求进行论述。

This paper analyses the changes of the modem public library＇s service functions,literature resources forms, service modes, and service objects, etc., and points out that role-positioning of the librarians should be changed consequently, and discusses some concrete requirements of the modern public library, for the qualities of the librarians.
