摘要 酰基辅酶A:胆固醇酰基转移酶(ACAT)是细胞内惟一合成胆固醇酯的酶,在细胞和生物体胆固醇代谢平衡中起着重要作用。在哺乳动物细胞中存在两种基因编码的ACAT(ACAT1和ACAT2)。ACAT2选择性地在肝脏及小肠细胞中表达,参与胆固醇的吸收和载脂蛋白的装配。本文主要介绍ACAT2的生理功能和病理作用,概述ACAT2的研究进展。 Acyl-CoA:cholesterol acyhransferase(ACAT) is the only enzyme of cholesteryl ester synthesis in cells, and plays an important role in balance between cells and organisms cholesterol metabolism. Two ACAT genes have been identified in mammals( ACAT1 and ACAT2). ACAT2 is selectively expressed in liver and small intestine, mainly involved in the dietary cholesterol absorption and assembly of apoB-containing lipoprotein. This paper introduced the physiological and pathological functions of ACAT2, summarize the research evolvement of ACAT2.
