摘要
动脉粥样硬化是一种慢性炎症性疾病，而且炎性反应的起始与持续都有先天性和获得性免疫应答的参与。CD4^＋CD25^＋调节性T细胞（CD4^＋CD25^＋ Treg）是一个具有独特免疫调节功能的T细胞亚群，能够抑制效应T细胞的活性。过去许多研究已证实，CD4^＋ CD25^＋ Treg在动脉粥样硬化中起着重要作用，本文综述了CD4^＋CD25^＋ Treg与动脉粥样硬化的关系。
Atherosclerosis is a chronic inflammatory disease of the arterial wall where both innate and adaptive immune responses contribute to disease initiation and progression. Subtypes of T cells, called CD4＋ CD25^＋ Treg,have a unique immune regulatory function, they can counteract effector T cells. A number of studies during the past year have comfirmed an important role of CD4^＋ CD25^＋ Tregs in atherosclerosis. This article reviewed the relationship between CD4^＋ CD25^＋ Treg and atherosclerosis.
