摘要 Twist是一种高度保守的碱性螺旋.环.螺旋转录因子家族重要成员,在动物与人类的胚胎发育中起关键调控作用。在动物胚胎发育过程中,Twist作为转录因子在诱导细胞移动及组织塑形中起主要作用。最近研究表明,Twist在表皮一间叶细胞转换调控中起着关键作用,Twist过表达在肿瘤的发生、侵袭转移、血管生成与肿瘤细胞耐药中发挥重要作用。Twist能通过多种途径引起肿瘤的发生,目前已在多种人类上皮来源肿瘤中发现Twist表达增高,并与患者预后关系密切。 Twist is the important member of highly conservative basic helix-ring-spiral transcription factors family, and plays a key role on regulation of embryogenesis. The transcription factor Twist, a master regulator of embryonic morphogenesis, plays an essential role in cell motility and organization modeling. Recent studies have shown that Twist played a key role in the epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and Twist overex- pression is able to played crucial roles in tumorigenesis,invasion and metastasis, angiogenesis and drug resistance. Twist can cause cancer by many ways. At present, Twist has been found increase expression in a variety of sources of human epithelial tumors, and closely related to the prognosis of patients.
