The Future Development of the Investigation and Studies of Han Dialects

本文主要讨论汉语方言学进一步发展和未来走向的若干问题。强调指出,在以往所取得的成就的基础上,必须深化汉语方言调查研究的成果。要核实已有的方言事实,并继续开展新的调查记录;要对所调查记录的方言事实进行深度的整理研究,包括广泛的比较研究和专题研究。与此同时,努力拓展汉语方言调查研究的领域,例如开展海外汉语方言和濒危汉语方言的调查研究,建立汉语方言学与语言学其他分支学科,与其他人文社会学科、甚至与自然学科的广泛对接。

This paper focuses on some key issues concerning the future development of the studies of Han dialects. It points out that future investigation and studies of Han dialects should rely on the findings achieved, and comparative studies and new approaches should be adopted. A broader vision is desirable in such studies, which should include the investigation and studies of Hart dialects abroad or on the verge of extinction as well as interdisciplinary approaches.
