Experiment on Silica Exothermic Compound for Outside Furnace Refining

研究了硅氧化法钢水提温的反应规律．它升温过程快而且平稳，用量在１ｋｇ／ｔ时升温能力为２３９℃，与铝的升温规律相似但升温能力稍低．

The reaction law of increase in molten steel temporature with silicon oxidation method is studied. This method raises temperature rapidly and smoothly. Temperuture can be raised by 23 9℃ when 1kg silica exothermic compound added to one ton of molten steel. Compared with aluminium,its raising temperature capacity is slightly lower.
