Effects of Drug Targets in Developing Novel Drug

药物靶标是指存在于组织细胞内与药物相互作用,并赋予药物效应的特定分子,绝大多数为蛋白质,包括多种受体、酶等。近年来,随着分子生物学研究的深入,尤其是人类基因组和蛋白质组学的研究,药物靶标已经成了研发新药的重要手段。该文综述了药物靶标的发现、基于靶标的药物设计及其在新药研究中的应用前景。

Drug target refers to those specific molecules in cells of tissue which interact with drug and make it produce expected effects. Most of them are proteins, such as some receptors, enzymes and so on. in recent years, with the advanced development in molecular biology, especially the researches in human genome and proteomics, drug target has acted as important roles in developing novel drug. This article reviews the drug target＇ s discovery, drug design based on targets, as well as prospects in developing novel drug.
