The paper overviews the main production technique and developing trend of high-angle and horizontal well in USA,USSR and Canada etc.It introduces optimum seeking,suitability,application case,economic benefit and how to increase the efficiency for reducing the cost of production technique suitable for different kinds of high-angle and horizontal well.In addition,suggestions based on China's national conditions are given in the paper.
