The appearance of urban agriculture represents human＇s reflection and awakening of industrialization and urbanization. It comes forth in developed countries, such as Europe, America and Japan, and spreads to developing countries little by little. The paper starts with the connotation of urban agriculture, and analyzes the necessity and feasibility of developing urban agriculture in Yixing, then discusses its pattern and layout combined with Yixing＇s nature conditions and other areas＇ experiences. In the end, some measures and advice advancing its development are put forward.
