A Human Thinker in Pursuit of Independence and Freedom in a Time of Great Change——On the Literary Image of Grigory in Quiet Flows the Don

中俄学者关于《静静的顿河》中的主人公格里高力有不同看法,这与作者肖洛霍夫在不同时候关于这一形象的一些不同说法有关。这种情况的出现主要是由于作者处于严酷的政治环境中,也与研究者长期以来的社会政治研究模式关系很大。但如从人性尤其是从历史剧变时期追求独立与自由、人道主义、思考者这一角度去思考,将会带来更为开阔的视野,也更能说明格里高力悲剧的原因及其悲剧的普遍意义。因此文章认为,格里高力这一形象反映了历史剧变时期一个追求独立与自由的人性思考者的悲剧。

Scholars have different ideas about the image of Grigory in Russia and China because M. A. Sholokhov had different descriptions of the hero in different events and periods. Both the harsh political environment the author lived and the social and the different political research methods the researchers used result in the complication of the literary image. However, it will have a clearer explanation on the causes and general meaning of Grigory＇ s tragedy and widen the researchers＇ horizon if they study the image from the perspective of human nature, especially the perspective of the hero＇ s pursuit of independence and freedom. This article believes that the image of Grigory reflects the tragedy of a human thinker in pursuit of independence and freedom in a time of great change.
