摘要
基于我国制造行业的面板数据,本文分析了国际贸易对我国R&D投入的三种不同的影响机制。由于R&D投入具有两面性,外部技术机会一方面会替代行业内的R&D投入,另一方面又会激励R&D投入。我们的回归结论显示,整体而言,国外技术机会对我国制造行业的R&D投入具有显著的正向作用,而国内行业间的技术机会具有相反的影响;此外出口的扩大反而会降低我国行业的R&D投入,而进口竞争只是对高科技行业的R&D投入具有显著的正向影响。
This paper empirically analyzes the three different influences of international trade on R&D investment in China by using the data of manufacture industry. R&D investment has dual nature, on the one hand, the external technological opportunity would replace the R&D investment inside the industry, and it would inspire the R&D investment on the other hand. Our results reveal that, on the whole, the foreign technical opportunity has the positive and significant effect on R&D investment of manufature industry in China, while technical opportunity among domestic industries has the oposite effect. The expanding in export would reduce the R&D investment in China's industries, and the competition in import would only improve the R&D invevstment in the high technical industry.
