This paper introduces the basic instruction of the 2400KW Electron Beam Cold Hearth in BaoTi company, the work principle of the electron gun, it also introduces the production practice and process control when melting the pure Titanium and Titanium alloy. Through our deep understanding and independent innovation, we have achieved the industrialization of the production; the quality of the ingot has been improved, producing technology has reached the international advanced level.
