摘要
本文从语用学角度对塞尔言语行为理论的隐喻观进行了阐释,重点介绍了塞尔隐喻理论的三大步骤、八项原则,指出塞尔隐喻理论存在的主要问题是:力图将隐喻与间接言语行为区别开来;存在释义需要和释义缺乏之间的矛盾;无法解释事物之间的相似性。
This paper introduces Searle's pragmatic accounts of metaphor and focuses on three procedures and eight principles of his metaphor theory. It points out three main problems of Searle's metaphor theory: it tries to differentiate metaphor and indirect speech act, there is contradiction between demand and deficit of interpretation; his theory cannot explain the similarities between objects.
